في كوخ مبني من القصدير والطين
طفل صغير يحلم
بماء نظيف ووجبة طعام في اليوم
والا يخاف الالغام وهو يلعب
كل يوم

في مكان ما مظلم وبعيد
وجد السيد (الايدز) فريسة اخرى
لانقاذ حياته هو فقط لا يستطيع ان يدفع
اخبرني ماذا سنفعل

نتمتع بالراحة والدفء علي كراسينا!
هي سنبخل عليهم حتي بالصلاة؟

نحن لا نختلف عنكم كثيرا
لدينا احلاما مثلكم تماما
ولكنها دفنت مع أجساد احبائنا

هل نحن صم بكم عُمي؟
ماذا يدور بعقولنا؟
هل أننا لا نهتم ببقية البشرية؟

لماذا نوحي للناس بما لا نطبقه نحن؟
لنساعدهم علي الخروج من هذه الظلمة

الاطفال يرتدون ملابس جديدة
الالوان الزاهية تملأ الشوارع
والابتسامة تعلو وجوههم
جيوبهم ملأى بالحلوى

المساجد مملوءة بالمصلين
وهم يقفون في صفوف مستقيمة ومرتبة
الله يتذكرون اسمه يرددون
أيديهم مرتفعه الى السماء
يتضرعون ويناشدون ربهم
في هذا اليوم المبارك
" يتوسلون" اغفر لنا!

الناس يتصدقون
ويساعدون ذوي الحاجة
في الإعطاء لهم ويتنافسون
فلا طمع اليوم

تقول مرارا وتكرارا لماذا لا أستطيع أنا أكون انا؟
تتحدث عن الديمقراطية
ولكنك أخذت مني حريتي
كل ما اريده هو الانصاف (المساواة)
لماذا لا تتركني فقط اكون حرة؟
